Donna has practiced in a variety of educational and clinical settings. She is an expert presenter and has given talks on drug and alcohol addiction at several private independent schools. Donna handles crisis intervention with her supportive yet direct style; she develops effective treatment plans, performs comprehensive client assessments, facilitates groups, and conducts both individual and family counseling. As well, Donna works closely with other providers to secure needed and effective aftercare programs.

A psychotherapist specializing in addiction, Donna serves as case manager to assist clients in developing structure, balance, and routine in their daily lives. Donna has studied Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) modalities and uses these learned skills in her practice. She is highly passionate about her work in mental health and works consistently to help people build mastery and self-esteem – the bedrock core components of recovery.

Donna brings the wisdom of 32 years of marriage and raising five adult children to her practice. She has a marvelous sense of humor and warmth which clients immediately connect to. Donna received her Masters In Social Work and Addiction Training Certification from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
