Tom Jennings is a Peabody award-winning documentary filmmaker and journalist. He has written, produced and directed more than 400 hours of programming on a variety of topics, including politics, religion, history, crime, sports, mystery and travel. He has produced documentary films all around the globe and has looked for new ways to tell stories that are informative and entertaining. Jennings' award-nominated and winning body of work includes National Geographic Documentary Films' Challenger Disaster: Lost Tapes (New York Film Festival Gold Medal and Royal Television Society nomination) and National Geographic's The Lost JFK Tapes (Emmy Award nomination and New York Festival Silver Medal). His other titles include The Fidel Castro Tapes (Emmy Award nomination) MLK: The Assassination Tapes (George Foster Peabody Award and Cine Golden Eagle Award); and Taking Down the Mob (New York Film Festival Bronze Medal). Tom started his career as a print journalist, writing for the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times and Associated Press, and in 1994, he was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in journalism.
